Since 1949, UNIONINVEST d.d. designs, builds, installs equipment and maintains industrial, administrative, sports, health, educational and power facilities.
It offers solutions and implementation of project tasks in accordance with the specification and needs of investors.
Unioninvest d.d. was among the first companies in Southeast Europe that dealt with water treatment, solar energy treatment and gas pipeline installations.
The main expansion took place in 1969, when the number of employees reached 2,500 workers. On that occasion, a chronicler wrote: “The name Unioninvest is the name of life.”
During the war from 1992 to 1996, almost 80% of the company’s material assets were destroyed, and the damage was estimated at 100 million marks (approx. 55 million euros). The continuity of the Company’s work was nevertheless maintained through previously contracted as well as new jobs in Frankfurt, Berlin (Germany), Moscow (Russia), Algeria.
Today, Unioninvest d.d. Sarajevo represents a leader in engineering projects on the local market and is a recognizable name in the region.
